Crocodile café and bar is one of Uganda's top continental
restaurants. Located on Plot 21 Cooper Road at Kisimenti
Kololo, it was opened in 1996 as a small café, by two
people who like to cook. They wanted to offer the nearby
residents a place to have a snack and enjoy the tropical
sunset.
It has since grown into a trendy restaurant, in the bustling Kampala city suburb and is patronized by a cosmopolitan clientele. Banks, supermarkets, craft shops, and pharmacies have now sprung up around the area.
According to the Managing Director, Mrs Nyakairu, good
service and knowing the clientele's taste is the real story
behind the success of her enterprise. She keeps her
restaurant dynamic adding new ideas to the menu every year,
some of which she captures when she travels.
The restaurant is set in a serene setting. You can either
enjoy your meal in the main dinning area or on the terrace.
There is no hassle of finding a parking slot due to the
wide, free, secure parking available.
Future plans are to open an extension where people who want to grab a meal while they work can sit. Its old customers are still coming back to enjoy a good meal and shop in the neighbouring shops.
We are open from Monday to Saturday, 11am to 11pm
